Non-toxic fly catching paper requires to have special printing with different colours or shapes to attrack flies. Coatings with our transparent adhesives do not influence the visibility of the printing. Further our adhesives do not stain the paper qualities used. Thanks to the use of high quality raw materials our fly catching adhesives are not effected by UV-light when placed outside. Our products are used in the market for the production of insect traps for flies, mosquitoes, moths and other insects.
Thanks to the stability of our products they have a constant coating behaviour. Although the adhesive is soft, which is needed to catch insects, it still has enough cohesion to create an easy release of the silicone paper even at warm weather conditions.
A special adhesive is available at Paramelt as some insect traps do need to have high temperature resistance. These traps are placed behind windows or used in warm countries. When traps are placed vertically the adhesive stays in position and does not flow down or drip on the floor.
For glue traps designed to catch bigger animals a more stronger adhesive is needed. Paramelt also offers an adhesive for mouse/rat traps.
All our PLASTOFLEX® adhesives for the use of insect controls do conform to the requirements of the U.S. Federal Food Additives Regulation 21CFR.175.105 "Adhesives".
