Low viscosity, fast setting, waterbased adhesives are often used for laminating paper to paper. Paper is glued from the roller, laminated and then rolled up again or cut.
This is done using high machine speeds.
Paper to paper laminating adhesives must give the following general properties:
- ensure good adhesion of paper to paper;
- laminate must exhibit excellent flatness;
- setting speed/open time is depending on the machine and customer requirements.
