The term laminating is understood to mean the bonding of two or more substrates in order to improve quality, strength or appearance.
In the case of mini-corrugated and solid cardboard laminating sheets of cardboard are covered with a sheet of paper to improve their appearance. This paperboard is subsequently used for e.g. small boxes or displays. Waterbased adhesives, with or without filler, are used for this application.
