Waxes are used in various metal casting processes. In essence first a wax model is made which later is converted into a metal piece with great detail and narrow tolerances via the “lost wax process”.
Paramelt segment products for various casting processes: industrial production of detailed metal pieces (“investment casting”), jewelry product production and art models (“modelling wax”). For each of these casting processes Paramelt produce tailor made products to meet the high demanding requirements. All casting products have low ash values and controlled physical properties.
