Jewelry casting waxes need to have:
- good flow at low temperatures;
- high flexibility;
- good release from rubber moulds;
- no dents on the surface;
- ability to create detailed structures;
- short congealing time.

Precision investment casting waxes are used to make models by injection moulding for the casting of larger complex steel, titanium or alloy parts. Since these are used for very complex and high precision parts the applied waxes should have superior:

- accuracy of the shape;
