poultry defeathering Cereplume®

 
Defeathering wax is used for removing the remaining vestiges of plumage from poultry carcasses which have previously been plucked by a machine or by hand. It is most often used on water fowl.

The effectivity of defeathering process and the recycleability of the waxes are the key performance factors.

The last few years industrial processes for defeathering poultry have been improved considerably demanding a new generation of specialty formulated waxes. In close cooperation with the industry Paramelt has developed high performance products for this application which have become a new industry standard.
