moisture barrier (MVTR)

Aquaseal® 2093 is a water based dispersion, formulated with unplasticized, high molecular weight thermoplastic ethylene coplolymers. Enhanced version of Aquaseal® 2077 in terms of hot tack, seal initiation temperature, sealing/bond strength, moisture/chemical/creep resistance.

Aquaseal® 2200 is an aqueous polymer dispersion of ethylene copolymers. Provides good barrier properties on a range of paper types. Coatings on paper are heat sealable against themselves and other polyolefin based substrates. For plastic films and aluminium a primer is reccomended.

Aquaseal® 2221 is a formulated, aqueous, ethylene copolymer dispersion. Solvent and VOC free. Designed as a standard product for sealable barrier coatings on paper. Especially for sachet products (such as sugar, salt or yeast) requiring only an intermediate level of barrier.

Aquaseal® X 2170 is a fully formulated (ready to use) high barrier PVdC coating designed primarily for application on plastic films but also suitable for application on paper in combination with a suitable base coat.

Aquaseal® X 2241 is a formulated dispersion containing ethylene copolymers and waxes. Designed as a standard product for moisture and grease barrier applications on paper and board. Paper or board coated with Aquaseal® X 2241 is heat sealable against itself from 80-90°C.

Aquaseal® X 2258 is an aqueous dispersion (white liquid) based on a blend of ethylene co-polymers and wax. Intended for coating of paper and board to provide excellent moisture and fat resistance. Potential applications: heat sealable sachets, bread bags, soap packaging, baked goods, confectionary.

Aquaseal® X 2276 is a fully formulated (ready to use) printable PVdC coating offering intermediate moisture and gas barrier properties.  Primarily designed to be applied on plastic films in combination with primer Aquatack 1411 this product can also be used for paper coatings in combination with a suitable base coat.

Paraflex® CC 8410 is a low viscosity carton coating hotmelt wich is applied by roller coaters on plain carton. Carton coated with Paraflex® CC 8410 provides good resistance to moisture and has good non-sticking properties.

Paraflex® CC SG is a high viscosity carton coating hotmelt which is applied by curtain coaters on corrugated carton. The coating has a very high gloss and is heat sealable. Corrugated carton coated with Paraflex® CC SG provides good resistance to moisture and has good non-sticking properties.

Paraflex® CW 5854 is a low viscosity gloss wax. It is very suitable for the production of fast food wrappers. Excellent resistance to fat.
