Syncera™ LP 1476 is water based emulsion of LD-PE and paraffin wax designed for lubricity, softening and hydrophobicity in the treatment of paper, textiles and non-wovens. The emulsion is designed to be foam-free for ease of application.
Syncera™ P 1387 is a non-ionic paraffin wax emulsion. Designed to provide extra hydrophobicity, slip and release properties as additive in coatings. Also used as paper treatment/coating in food packaging (twist-wrap paper for candies/waxed paper for bread bags), providing excellent gloss.
Aquaseal 2200 Aquaseal™ 2200 is an aqueous polymer dispersion of ethylene copolymers. Provides good barrier properties on a range of paper types. Coatings on paper are heat sealable against themselves and other polyolefin based substrates. For plastic films and aluminium a primer is reccomended.
Aquaseal X 2241 Aquaseal™ X 2241 is a formulated dispersion containing ethylene copolymers and waxes. Designed as a standard product for moisture and grease barrier applications on paper and board. Paper or board coated with Aquaseal™ X 2241 is heat sealable against itself from 80-90°C.
Aquaseal X 2258 Aquaseal™ X 2258 is an aqueous dispersion (white liquid) based on a blend of ethylene co-polymers and wax. Intended for coating of paper and board to provide excellent moisture and fat resistance. Potential applications: heat sealable sachets, bread bags, soap packaging, baked goods, confectionary.
Aquaseal X 2170 Aquaseal™ X 2170 is a fully formulated (ready to use) high barrier PVdC coating designed primarily for application on plastic films but also suitable for application on paper in combination with a suitable base coat.
Aquaseal X 2276 Aquaseal™ X 2276 is a fully formulated (ready to use) printable PVdC coating offering intermediate moisture and gas barrier properties. Primarily designed to be applied on plastic films in combination with primer Aquatack 1411 this product can also be used for paper coatings in combination with a suitable base coat.
Aquaseal X 2281 Aquaseal™ X 2281 is a novel high solids barrier coating based on a vinyl alcohol resin in water. Despite its high degree of hydrolysis, it has been possible to achieve a 20% solid content whilst maintaining the viscosity at 500mPas allowing higher coating weights to be achieved with existing equipment. Designed as a product for coatings on paper or film, for example as a printable oxygen barrier. The barrier performance remains humidity sensitive above about 23°C/65% humidity but this can be improved with cross-linking.
Aquaseal 2166 Aquaseal™ 2166 is a non-sealable blend of several wax- and polymer dispersions. Designed for water and grease barrier coatings on open paper and board. Substrates could also include textiles and leather. Provides substrates with excellent water and fat resistance properties.
Aquaseal 2177 Aquaseal™ 2177 is formulated dispersion of polymers and waxes. Designed as a standard product for several applications, like seal coatings on paper, foil and/or film, or as an additive in inks or overprint varnish.
Aquaseal 2221 Aquaseal™ 2221 is a formulated, aqueous, ethylene copolymer dispersion. Solvent and VOC free. Designed as a standard product for sealable barrier coatings on paper. Especially for sachet products (such as sugar, salt or yeast) requiring only an intermediate level of barrier.
