Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resources department including record keeping, ensuring compliance, enforcing company policies as well as recruiting and onboarding new staff.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Performs all administrative tasks for pre-onboarding and onboarding
- Conducts new hire orientations
- Enters and maintains accurate employment records in human resources information system (HRIS)
- Updates relevant databases and software as needed
- Performs audits and mandatory compliance reports
- Responds promptly to all employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leadership
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Prepares and tracks time and attendance records and associated tasks
- Writes, updates and follows the department’s procedures
- Assists HR Manager with employee separation processes when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent, and 3+ years relevant experience
Other Qualifications
- Proficient in various software applications including Microsoft Office, Paylocity and other HRIS
- Well organized and detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of employees
- Must be capable of accepting and exercising a high level of responsibility in keeping and maintaining confidential and sensitive information
- Effectively demonstrates good judgment and impartiality in dealing with and resolving human conflict, problems and complaints
- Time management skills, able to meet multiple deadlines for financial and HR reports
- Ability to travel between Paramelt USA sites
