wax emulsions

Aquaseal™ 1174 is a water based ethylene acrylic acid wax dispersion which can be used to promote adhesion to polar substrates and provide a degree of low pressure heat sealability on paper and aluminium foil. In coating formulations it can also be used to increase anti-slipping characteristics.

Aquaseal™ 1239 is a water based emulsion of polar and non-polar waxes designed to provide good adhesion to paper based substrates providing good low pressure heat sealing performance and a degree of hydrophobicity.

Syncera™ CS 1417 is an emulsion based on a blend of carnauba wax and shellac.  Syncera® CS 1417 is designed as a fully formulated treatment for the wax treatment of citrus fruits post washing or can be used in combination with other oxidised PE emulsions such as Syncera™ HD 7031 to reduce cost.

Syncera™ CW 1245 is a small particle size, non-ionic, carnauba wax dispersion. Developed as a slip additive for coating applications. Used as a slip modifier and anti-blocking agent for coatings, especially for heat-sealable coatings on film.

Syncera™ CW 1407 is a water based carnauba emulsion based entirely on the use of direct food additives intended for use in food and feed applications.

Syncera™ HD 1415 is an emulsion based on HDPE wax, emulsified with an anionic emulsifier. Designed as an ammonia-free, high solids version of Syncera™ HD 1205. Used as a slip modifier and anti-blocking agent for coatings, especially for heat-sealable coatings on film. 

Dispersion HD 7020 contains a corrosion inhibitor for non-ferrous metals.  HD 7020 provides protection to metals during transport and storage and has good lubricating properties.

Syncera™ HD 7031 is an anionic water based HD-PE emulsion designed for the post washing treatment of citrus fruits.

Syncera™ HD 7161 is a high density polyethylene wax dispersion based on non-ionic emulsification. Used in cold-end treatment of glass containers, offering superior protection. Also used for scratch resistance in water-based printing inks/lacquers, and for enhancing gloss on paper(board).

Syncera™ HD 7380 is an high density polyethylene wax dispersion (transparent yellow liquid), based on a combination of anionic and non-ionic emulsification. Designed for use in water based coatings, surface treatments and ink formulations to improve abrasion, blocking and scuff resistance.
