SALES EXECUTIVE (Nordics)

 

Profile function

As Sales Executive (Nordics), you will be part of our team responsible for our sales activities in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

You will be trained to become an expert in our products and their features and application benefits, which is essential to be a strong business partner for our customers. You will learn about the challenging demands made on our products, consulting with our product specialists and other colleagues at our locations in Heerhugowaard (industrial waxes) and Veendam (coatings and adhesives) in The Netherlands.

Personal contact with clients is extremely important and that is why you will spend most of your time on the road – maintaining relationships and providing service and solutions to the requirements of our customers. You will also be responsible for finding, developing and converting new business opportunities at both existing customers and prospect accounts.

You will assist in product trials and be active on the shop floor to give advice and build strong relations to both existing and potential accounts.

You will report to the Sales Manager Nordics.

Profile candidate

For this position we are looking for someone with at a commercial/technical education on higher vocation level. You have a pragmatic and flexible attitude, and you are both customer-oriented and result-oriented.

You have a high level of autonomy in order to coordinate several sales projects. Furthermore, you have a hands-on mentality and good problem solving skills for handling daily order-related customer issues.

You are a self-starter, confident and independent but at the same time an excellent team-player. You have knowledge of, or are willing to learn about in detail, the wax, dispersion and industrial adhesive industry in the Nordics.

You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the b-to-b market, preferably in the industrial sector, for example in the flexible packaging or paper industry.

Based on this experience, you have developed a strong personality, with good social skills. You are disciplined and resilient. You are able to build and maintain close and effective customer relationships whilst being able to take and defend a strong position when needed. This is a Nordics wide role so you must be willing and able to travel extensively.

We offer you an exciting and challenging position with a lot of freedom and the opportunity to grow into the role, whilst receiving necessary support from colleagues in Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, R&D and Quality to maintain a high level of service and support to the customer.

Your native language is Swedish or Danish and you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

You are preferably located in the south of Sweden or in north-east Denmark.
